Human Robohunt

Human Robohunt is a networked action game in which you must survive the predation effort of a man eating robot as punishment for your crime. The ruby programming langugage along with rubygame, rbgooey, and eventmachine will be used in this project.

The Story
You are a criminal condemned to death. In this case, your execution is being killed in a game. In this game, you and other fellow condemned men are preys of a man eating robot. However, it is possible to escape death to live another day. You must be the last man standing, in other words not eaten.
This cruel death experiment was conducted by the military to create the most powerful and intellent killing machines. Your objective is to survive and escape the complex.
Gameplay
Each level is a puzzle, full of assorted traps and devices that may or may not help you. You and another ten men are forced into the murder chamber to face a deadly robot bent on eating all of you. However, the robot can't eat all of you. Rather, it can eat almost all of you.
The robot, although strong and efficent, is not vulernable. This give the player(s) opportunity to think about cooperating or not.
Players can buy weapons and other tools on the black market that will help them survive the next encounter. Of course, since the hunting robot is very resilent, it will be hard to take down.
There are also the occasional mini-game hosted by guards to root out resistances among the players.
